He will be remembered as a man with a passion for rugby, a brain for business and a heart for his people, a humble man, someone who will give you his last, a loving person. Frans was a hero in his own right. He stood for what was right in all adversity and fought the good fight.

Miss de Jager proved to be a dedicated, loyal and enthusiastic teacher to the many Grade Two learners that passed through her classroom. Miss de Jager had a heart of gold. Not only did she fulfill her duties as a teacher, but so often gave of her time to assist staff, learners and parents of the school, in most cases offering to help of her own accord. Miss de Jager had a passion for fairy tales, particularly those with dragons, so to end, she faced her fears in this way.

He was big on life and dedicated the last few years to the establishment of the Mzansi Kwaito and House Music. His commitment to MKHMA positively contributed to the elevation of the Kwaito and House Music Awards and we call out to all South Africans to remember Mr. Malinga for the contribution he made in unearthing upcoming musicians and catapulting to a higher level.
