His spirit on the school grounds will be with us every day. He motivated and inspired us, sometimes reprimanded us. He brought renewal to the school. The learners and staff were his passion. He had compassion to those who suffered. Few headmasters know learners' names the way he did. He took the school's academic performance to the highest growth and believed in restorative discipline.
Ben was, among other things, a lover of nature. He was a father figure to many a son and daughter who grew up in single-parent homes. He was the gentle giant who could have mercy on a child.

She is remembered for being passionate about women’s and children’s studies in Africa and had hoped to use her background in historical studies to critically analyse the problems faced by women and children to come up with effective solutions to challenges faced.
