Prof Stephen was a friendly, warm and kind individual with deep integrity. A man that with such a gentle approach, made such a huge impact on those around him, and who took the NWU, and specifically the Faculty of Law forward, during often turbulent times.
He was a brother to others and a grandfather. The love that he has given to us, the unity that he was preaching. We will always remember him that he was a pillar of strength. He was actually everything to us. Bishop Ubane was an open man, a loving man who was open to advise. A father to everybody, to young people in the church.
He will be remembered for his music, political activism, leadership, work ethic, spontaneity, humility, warmth and outgoing personality.
She was a beloved and helpful soul.
He was a faithful servant of God. He was always willing to help those in need and had a soft spot for widows and orphans.
A very humble soul; He served as an epitome of discipline and he never wanted to be rewarded for the work he was doing.
